Nicolet Candle Company is committed to always using 100% U.S. grown soybean wax that is non-toxic, biodegradable and environmentally safe. Each candle uses cotton wicks, recycled packaging and is individually hand poured into recycled glass containers. The reclaimed wine bottle containers can be easily cleaned with hot, soapy water and used as a drinking glass. The wax has excellent scent throw, as well as a lower burn temperature which allows for a slower burn time. It also emits a low amount of soot in comparison with paraffin candles.
